Winter Park’s Food & Beverage Team is currently hiring Cashier Foremen for the winter season. Cashier Foremen are integral parts of the Food & Beverage team with a combination of supervisory, opening/closing, and guest service components to the position.
The Cashier Foreman is primarily responsible for the accurate completion of daily deposits and revenue reports for the unit. Additionally the Foreman will train, supervise and assist with scheduling 4-8 cashiers. The Cashier Foreman will develop a working knowledge of unit functions including front of the house set up and monitoring, basic food preparation, and stocking and merchandising, so that he/she can effectively assist in multiple aspects of unit management. He/she will also become knowledgeable about the Colorado Liquor Code.
This Foreman will also be expected to be the acting Manager on Duty when the full-time manager is not present.
The Cashier Foreman provides the opportunity to gain great supervisory experience within a variety of Food & Beverage functions.
General requirements are:
– A High School diploma or equivalent
– At least 2 years of cash handling and/or cashiering experience in a work setting.
– The ability to handle and manage confidential information.
– The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
– Previous experience managing/supervising staff in a Food & Beverage setting.
